About Us

Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors

The sixth district includes the great states of South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Kentucky. Our main reasons for creating this website were to improve communication among our members and to keep everyone actively involved. Ensuring everyone is aware of what’s happening across the district is critical to our success. Let us know how we can help make your membership more valuable.

On December 31, 2011, the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association officially surrendered its national charter back to the U.S. Congress and formally disbanded the organization. However, that’s not the end of our meetings or having fun.

The success of this website depends on you. If you know of an event that should be posted, feel free to contact us. Even if your state doesn’t have chapters, we still want to post whatever is happening there. For example: PHSA meetings, remembrance ceremonies, Memorial Day ceremonies, Veteran’s Day ceremonies, December 7th ceremonies, related parties / cookouts, and anyone speaking at a special event or school.

We want to promote a family atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. Along with this website, our national Offspring newsletter highlights special events and other items of interest to our members. You can submit ideas for the newsletter in several ways. Information sent via our contact page comes directly to me. However, you’ll also find detailed contact information for myself and our state chairs under the leadership tab. Feel free to use whichever means you prefer.

We hope to hear from you and see you soon.
