This annual memorial service is sponsored by Georgia’s own Harry Robert Kerr Chapter – Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors. Inc. The event will be held near the Pearl Harbor Memorial Monument located near the front entrance of the Marietta National Cemetery. Highlights will include The Patriot Guard Riders presenting an Honor Parade. Presentation of the Colors. Introduction of any special guests and Pearl Harbor Survivors. A special welcome to all our Veterans. Placement of red and white roses, (red for living and white for passed). Names of all Georgia Pearl Harbor Survivors that have passed since the 2012 Memorial Service will be called. Be sure to bring folding chairs and plenty of water as it tends to get hot. Note:  In the event of rain, we’ll meet under the white rostrum on top of the hill.  Everyone’s safety comes first.  Should there be lightning in the area, we’ll reschedule the ceremony for a later date.  Thanks for your understanding.
